Two Pop Princesses in one day! You must think we’re losing our edge over here at R&S. Truth be told, Yelle is hardly a the innocent ‘girl next door’ type. Nope! She’s young and beautiful; but also an explosive character driving the new wave of non-aggressive girl-power scene. Focusing on riske kick ass lyrics, this particular French export would rather make fun of tiny penises (a-la “Short Dick Man” – or in her case, “Je Veux Te Voir”) than be the latest role-model for teeny boppers.
