Van She, Kelly & Big Names

Every blue moon there is a collaboration that just makes sense and the music gods rejoice in their meeting of the minds. That is what has happened when Van She decided to release ‘Kelly’ for the fourth(!) time. It may seem like their beating a dead horse, and they kind of are, but it also means that there are some amazing new remixes for a great old tune.

Two of my favorite artists, Breakbot and M83, get their hands on Kelly and make some sweet sweet lovin’ music. Sometimes the party ends, or sometimes you feel like having a few casuals in the backyard. Then what are you going to listen to, ya heard?

For you lucky people I’ll even post an older remix (the Alan Braxe & Fred Falke remix) that keeps up with the newer ones and, for you Fred Falke fans, might even surpass some of them. It’s really hard to pick a favorite between the original and all these remixes. Each is strikingly gorgeous in their own way. It’s also interesting that each of the artists put their signature sound to the original and in every case it ends up enhancing the song and making it sound new all over again.
