Rollin’ & Scratchin’

If you’ve followed Rollin’ & Scratchin’ at all, you know that we pride ourselves on helping promote local talent.  So when we received a bunch of tracks from Syntonics, needless to say, we were very excited.

Barbi C (vocals/production) and Mitchell Anthony Gomes a.k.a. Cryo (production/turntables/talkbox/rhymes) have been a staple in the Toronto club scene for quite a while.  Sytonics have crafted their reputation not only as one of Toronto’s tightest DJ duos (Syntonic DJs), but also as the city’s most energetic and exciting live hip hop acts since Maestro was letting his ‘Backbone Slide’.  If you’re into throwback 90’s booty bass electro, this will be right up your alley.

The duo have recently been signed to DJ Godfather’s new label, ELECTROBOUNCE with plans for a European tour in the next year.  Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that they’ll be playing a live set at the next Rollin’ $ Scratchin’ Party on Nov. 7th?  Yeah, we’re sort of excited for that one.  Don’t be a fool.  Come jam with Syntonics!
