Rollin’ & Scratchin’

Over the last year, I’ve heard murmurs of one, Sammy Bananas. I never really paid much attention as he seemed to be just one of a hundred newly signed acts to A-trak’s Fools Gold Records. Thankfully, I was encouraged to take a second look.

As one half of the famed Certified Bananas DJ Duo, Sammy is the next step forward to this 90’s acid house revival that’s become so popular over the last half year. Straight up 90’s vocal chops, and old school 808 State/A Guy Called Gerald synth-stabs, that create a massive dance floor explosion hot enough to send you into a nostalgic head-spin. Just have a listen to his latest release, “Ladies”.
