Rollin’ & Scratchin’

I’ll have to admit, although we run a largely electronic-leaning blog, I have been a little shy when it comes to warming up to the more retro-revival, A-Ha, leaning acts.  That being said, we generally don’t judge books by there covers.  That’s why when I had this remix of Plushgun’s ‘How We Roll’ sent to me a week or so back, I knew I had to give a listen.

Lucky for us, The Framework has done a fantastic job taking this already bouncy electro pop track and transforming it into a slower, more club friendly, less bubble gummy type of dance tune.  I guess after sharing a stage together at CMW this passed year, these two bands became friends and swapped some tracks.  Lets hope we see further collabos between International and Canadian acts like this in the future.
