Rollin’ & Scratchin’

A friend of mine from New York told me about 3 months ago that I should really check out this Passion Pit band.  Of course, with my usual busy schedule, I listened to one track a quickly forgot to listen to the rest.  Lucky for me, I was reintroduced to what is now my favourite band of the moment.

Most of you know Passion Pit from their mega hit ‘Sleepyhead’ which quickly became the soundtrack for PSP.  Well, turns out these guys have got some serious game, and they’re not afraid to flaunt it.  Their debut album, “Manners” is a start to finish playground love making fiesta (I know that sounds a little weird, but trust me).  These guys are likely the most remixed band of the moment, but don’t let the blog hype fool you, this is a rare instance when the originals are actually a lot more catchy and memorable than its remixes.  Watch out for Passion Pit on tour this spring.  They’ll be in Toronto on June 16th.
