Mr. Oizo – Lambs Anger

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from, Mr. Oizo. A couple tracks and EP’s here and there, but not since 2005 with ‘Moustache (Half A Scissor)’ have we seen another full length effort. Well, fear not. The Moustache himself is back and ready to drop his next LP, ‘Lambs Anger’.

From the few snippets of tracks that I’ve heard, ‘Lambs Anger’ – unlike his previous efforts – concentrates on a sampledelic funk house vibe. My personal favourite is the re-working of Rob Base and EZ Rock’s ‘It Takes Two’, here called ‘Two Takes It’ featuring Carmen Castro. Don’t get us wrong though, there’s sure to be plenty of experimental sounding bleep and bloop glitch house throughout the album. It is Mr. Oizo we’re talking about here…’Lambs Anger’ drops on Ed Banger records Nov. 17th.
