Rollin’ & Scratchin’

Craig ain’t the only one from the R$S crew to have a summer album, but my choice is a little different. While he chose the lighter, kickin’-it-on-a-patio stylings of Grizzly Bear (which I totally cosign), I went for the grittier, darker release by one of my favorite rappers, Mos Def. His album, The Ecstatic is filled with hard-hitting drums and that old school, organic flavor that only Mos can deliver.

The track I want to hand over to y’all is the intro track Supermagic that boasts a mean guitar riff and a fast paced, aggressive flow. This is the type of album that you want to drop when getting your jog on or when you’re out on a late summer evening – car windows rolled down, seats back, bobbing your head to that heavy bass, rhyming along to to some real dope rhymes. Drive slow, homie.
