Rollin’ & Scratchin’

I’ve been showing Toronto a lot of love as of late, however it’s not hard to see why. We’ve got a crew of extremely talented artists who are slowly making the leap from sweaty basement jams to filling rooms with hundreds of people.

TapeDeckBros are no exception; climbing the ladder remarkably quicker than most of the new acts coming up in the big city. They’re anxious to expose themselves to as many eyes and ears as possible, and although I’ve posted on them before, they’ve been dying to get their new track Juliet to our R$S readers. Hit play and sit patiently until the break at 1:50 where the song really starts to get your attention. This song is a great blend of disco and an 8-bit undertone, with a leading violin that entices you to keep listening while you picture Mega Man strutting down the street. Check it.
