Leave it to these two to get me out of my blogging rut.

While I’ve taken some time off to tidy up my overflowing plate (I’m back this time, I swear!), the Fragglerock DJs have been cooking up a storm. With album plans, endless gigs and enough alcohol to put most of y’all to shame, these guys are putting in the work. A perfect example? A remix of a song by a band that most of your younger siblings are down with – the Midway State’s Never Again.

Fragglerock turn a piano-led, pop rock track and turned it into a grimy banger, heavily focused on an aggressive baseline and lasers galore. Even tweaking the lead piano into what feel likes a soaring synth line is just enough to make you realize just how damn catchy the original really was. Suddenly you don’t feel so guilty about that guilty pleasure of yours, huh?
