There’s nothing like waking up on a Saturday morning to the sweet smell of morning dew on the grass, and a ray of sunshine hitting your face. Or at least that’s how Vin from Midnight Juggernauts feels. I gotta say, looking outside at a beautiful, cloudless day, I agree with him. Thankfully, when I checked my inbox this morning, Midnight Juggies (that’s my affectionate name for them) had left us a little treat for such a circumstance.

“Sometimes songs can lead many different lives. With Road to Recovery we wanted to try it acoustically and give it a laid back early morning pre-dawn walk through the park vibe. We always felt a slight 60’s folk feel to the original so it was fun to be Simon and Garfunkle for the afternoon and lay down this new version. I don’t expect acoustopia to be played on too many dancefloors, though maybe the morning after…”

So how do you remix an already near perfect song? Call me ‘Old Fashioned’, but for all the different versions of this song out there, the ‘Acoustopic’ version may very well be my favourite. But if you don’t agree with me, here’s the Curses! and Miami Horror remixes for you.
