Rollin’ & Scratchin’

A month or so back we posted a blurb about the upcoming Valery Gore remix contest hosted by Do Right Music.  Well, the time for submissions has come and gone already and they’ve announced the winner.  Honourable mentions came from several new up comers including Toronto via Miami’s, TEEN.  But in the end, it was our good friends Waterloo, KIDSTREET that takes home the top prize!

Valery Gore’s, ‘Shoes of Glass’ is already a nice jazzy pop track suitable for any dinner or cocktail party, but when Kidstreet gets their hand on it, they turn it into a full blown bubblegum pop explosion.  Be on the look out for upcoming dates from Kidstreet as well as Valery Gore this summer.  If this isn’t an indication that these two acts should be working together on an album or collaboration, then I don’t know what is!
