Rollin’ & Scratchin’

KeysNKrates re-invented the remix. That’s a bold statement. Few bands can really make such a claim and back it up. But if you’ve ever seen them live, you read that and nodded enthusiastically in approval.

These guys take classic samples – from the Dre and Snoop to the Fugees to Kanye – cut them up, blend in all original instrumentation, throw it in a bowl, toss it in the oven, season to taste and present you with a whole new product. Re-invented the remix? I’d say so.

Their first track, The Longest Night, mixes a little bit of Lionel Richie with some MJ and a KNK twist that’ll make you a firm believer.
