Rollin’ & Scratchin’

On a recent trip to the UK, I came across a unique producer by the name of Gold Panda.  A 28 year old London native, Gold Panda has made some serious waves in the blog world with his unique sample-based take on dance music production.

GP originally gained attention for his remixes of Little Boots, Bloc Party and Telepathe, however has recently released a few originals that are as equally as impressive. Melding sounds and styles equally as inspired by Dilla as Aphex Twin, Gold Panda has created a sound entirely of his own.

With a slew of European dates supporting Simian on their upcoming tour, we can only hope that Gold Panda will be making the trek to North America in 2010.
