Rollin’ & Scratchin’

If you DJ or want to a reason to start, this is the song for you. The Stanton Warriors are a group that always make exciting remixes. They were my favorite songs to mix with with when I got into DJing. Their remixes mix so well with the regular 4-on-the-floor type beats. The bass drum on the upbeats change things up enough to keep people interested in the mix instead of just bobbing their heads in the corner.

I’ll even save you the work. Start mixing this song in at the 2:24 and then stand back and enjoy the show. When that gigantic bass slams in at 3:22, I guarantee you see more than a few smiles.

I think the only disappointing thing you can about this song is that David Byrne from The Talking Heads only says 5 words and they are “Touch the… in between my toes.” Sexy.
