Rollin’ & Scratchin’

In case you didn’t already know, Database is the Brazilian dance project by producers Yuri Chix and Lucio Morais, which is heavily influenced by the new Maximal school of Electro House. After having over played their past material to the point of no return (at least for a couple months), I stumbled upon a couple of recently released Database tracks that we have to post.

Doing a bit of a 180, these new Database tracks are sample heavy and chalked full of disco fury. Check out ‘Burn Me Up’ and ‘Gotta Take Your Love’ to see what I mean. It sounds like Database went from listening to buzz-saw electro to a shit-load of French inspired filter disco house. Shit, I’m not complaining…
