Rollin’ & Scratchin’

I avoided posting the newest Data track a while back, because it was clear that every blog in the world was going to do the same. This time around, I say F$%K IT! Data has come back with a part two, for his latest single “Rapture” featuring former DFA ‘79 Drummer/Singer, Sebastien Grainger.

Although, I am a fan of the original single, this one boasts a much catchier, Timbaland meets French glitch-pop vibe that is perfect for those top 40 nights at your local singles bar (I don’t even know what that means, it just sounds right). Two-steppin’ to this track ain’t ever been so easy. Shit, Seb G sounds pretty dope too. i wonder if he’s going to take his new band in an electro-pop direction?
