Rollin’ & Scratchin’

If you haven’t had the chance to catch Cadence Weapon live, now’s your chance. On Thursday at Lee’s Palace, Rollie Pemberton himself launches his Canadian wide tour in support of his latest effort, “After Party Babies”. I saw CW about 5 years ago was he was only about 18, and dude blew me away. A far cry from the over saturated market of less than enthusiastic live rappers I’ve been seeing lately.

Check out his first single, ‘Real Estate’ below. This is one of my favourite videos of 2008. A nice twist on political campaigning. This pops at the perfect time, seeing as our real estate market is in shambles, and the elections are just a week away.
