Rollin’ & Scratchin’

For many people (including myself), last night’s Grammy Awards were actually pretty entertaining.  Amongst the blatant effort by the ceremony to cater to the younger music buying public with performances and nominations from hipster notables, Radiohead, an overly pregnant M.I.A., and Lil’ Wayne, the top Grammys still went to the usual ‘Adult Contemp’ suspects.

That being said, one big winner last night was newcomer soul sister, Adele.  Though I’ve been a big fan of everything Adele this past year, I’ve failed to post anything up on this site.  I know what it looks like…girl wins a couple of Grammy’s and R$S hops on the bandwagon.  Well, here’s a flip of the ‘Bird’ to all you naysayers, and as for Adele, here’s a couple of fresh tracks including a steaming hot remix by British mega punk/pop/electronic producers, Basement Jaxx.
